This August, thousands of Central Texas school children began their 2011-2012 school year prepared thanks to Manos de Cristo's Back-to-School program. 

Without Manos, the families of these children could not afford to provide new supplies and clothing. Instead, Back-to-School created a positive environment that helped children to get ready and excited for school.      

At Back-to-School, every child was paired with a volunteer who gave them individual attention and helped to select their new clothing, books, and backpacks. 

Smiles and laughter were heard throughout the building each morning as children "shopped," drew pictures, and were entertained with interactive music, dancing and games.
